From mid-December to the first week of January, Lagos becomes the loudest, best-dressed party on earth — concerts, beach days, owambẹ weddings and reunions. Flights and the best stays sell out by autumn: book early, and buy event tickets only from official channels.
What's on
December anchors include Flytime Fest's concert series, The Experience Lagos (one of the world's largest free concerts) and, a road trip away, the Calabar Carnival. This year's line-ups are added as organisers announce them — we never list unconfirmed events.
